History
In 1989, Rocky Mountain Sports was opened as an addition to Rocky Mountain Liquor by Jim and Nancy McArtor. In 2005, they sold the store to their daughter and son-in-law, Ashli and Troy Koster. At that time, the business was relocated to the old Steck’s IGA building, where it resides to this day.
Over the years, the couple’s three daughters have all worked in the store, filling positions from cashier to freight and office roles. Their eldest daughter, Madison Pendley , has been the store manager for the last eight years. Now, four grandchildren are learning to fish, shoot a bow, shoot a .22, ride horses, and enjoy our great Wyoming outdoors.

Fantastic staff!! The young lady in bow department fixed my bow within a day … I’ve had that bow 7 years and killed over 50 whitetail with it so it means a lot to continue using it. Thanks again Rocky Mountain Sports!
